Regular price $514.00
Unit price

A Certified Lash lift and Tint Workshop in person in our Toronto Studio.

No experience needed. Most of the room has never worked in beauty.

You spend the morning on the chemistry and the consultation, practise on a partner before lunch, then work on your own model in the afternoon with me guiding every choice you make.

You leave certified, with a professional kit that holds enough product for ten full lifts, and somewhere to ask when something behaves unexpectedly.

Small group, only 10 seats per date

Who this day is for
  • You are brand new to lashes and want a real skill you can take clients with
  • You are thinking about a career change, or want something that is yours
  • You want a service you can offer and build around a life that is already full
  • You already do other beauty services and want to add lifts properly
  • You have been lifting for a while, but your results still change from client to client

You do not need to have touched a lash before. We start at the beginning, and you will not be the only one in the room who is.

How the day runs
  • Morning: the science, the product chemistry, and how to consult properly
  • Partner practice: you and another artist lift and tint each other, so you feel the service from the client's side of the chair too
  • Lunch: together, included
  • Afternoon: your own model, with me guiding every choice you make
  • Close: aftercare, pricing, and exactly what to do in your first week
What you will learn
  • Lash structure, and how lifting solutions soften and reset the bonds that hold a curl
  • Consultation, contraindications and patch testing
  • Choosing the right shield size and curl (C, CC or L) for each eye
  • Processing times for fine, normal and coarse lashes, and how to tell which you are looking at
  • Tint selection, mixing and development
  • Aftercare clients will actually follow
  • What to charge, and how to invite a client to rebook
What you take home
  • Your professional Elevate lift kit, with enough product for ten full lifts. Cysteamine based solutions, lift adhesive, silicone shields in multiple curls, a precision spatula and disposable wands. A working kit, not a sample set.
  • Course manual
  • Certificate of completion
  • Lunch on the day
  • Follow up support as you take your first clients

Your practice is covered and your first clients are covered, so you are not reordering anything before you have earned from it.

Why I teach it this way

I have been behind a lash bed for fifteen years. Our studio has completed more than 53,000 services since 2011, and we do over 900 lash lifts and tints a year.

For a long time I assumed the artists who struggled needed more practice. They did not. They had been handed a sequence and never told why.

So the first time a lash did something unexpected, and it always does, they had nothing to reason from.

That is what I rebuilt in how I teach, and it is why I still stand in the room myself rather than hand it to someone else.

Do I need a licence to do this in Ontario?

No. Ontario does not require a provincial licence to perform lash lifts or tinting.

What your insurer and most salons will ask for is a certificate, which is what you leave with.

Do confirm your own municipal and public health requirements before taking clients, as those are set locally and they change.

Questions people ask

I have never touched a lash before. Is this really for me?
Yes. Most of the room is usually in the same position. We start at the beginning, and you practise on a partner before you go near your model.

Is the kit really included, and how far does it go?
Yes, and it is a working professional kit rather than a sample set. There is enough product for ten full lifts. How far it stretches depends a little on how heavy handed you are while you are still learning, and that settles quickly.

Will I be able to take clients after this?
You leave certified, with your kit and the reasoning behind every step. What you need after that is practice, and we stay available while you get your first clients in.

Do I need to bring a model?
Yes, one model for the afternoon. In the morning you work with a partner from the group.
