Our studio has completed more than 53,000 services since 2011, and we do over 900 lash lifts and tints a year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor a long time I assumed the artists who struggled needed more practice. They did not. They had been handed a sequence and never told why.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSo the first time a lash did something unexpected, and it always does, they had nothing to reason from.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat is what I rebuilt in how I teach, and it is why I still stand in the room myself rather than hand it to someone else.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eDo I need a licence to do this in Ontario?\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNo. Ontario does not require a provincial licence to perform lash lifts or tinting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat your insurer and most salons will ask for is a certificate, which is what you leave with.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDo confirm your own municipal and public health requirements before taking clients, as those are set locally and they change.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eQuestions people ask\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eI have never touched a lash before.
